In addition our technician found quite a lot of dust on the motherboard and also in the fans. This needs to be thoroughly cleaned out or you run the risk of shorting a component on the board. The total cost for repairing the unit with a replacement standard 40GB HDD with format, hardware reset, cleaning the unit with in store pickup is $79.95. That includes a 90 day warranty on the repairs and HDD. We have larger hard drives available for additional charges. As an alternative, we can return back your unit to you.
