We have inspected your DS Lite unit. There are problems with the  electronics as well as the complete plastic shell/housing which will require replacement internal parts and the complete disassembly of the unit. In addition our technician noted that the buttons require cleaning and dust was found on the motherboard and screen. The dust need to be thoroughly cleaned out or you run the risk of shorting a component on the board. The total cost for replacing the broken and glued shell parts, internal plastic hinge and guide, cleaning the unit with return shipping is $69.95. That includes a 90 day warranty on the replacement parts and repair. As an alternative we can also simply return back your damaged unit to you and the inspection fee is $26.95.
