We have inspected your 3DS XL unit. Due to the damage, there are problems with the cartridge slot electronics which will require a new cartridge slot be installed and the complete disassembly of the unit. There is also damage to the Top LCD and is corresponding electrical components that run through the hinge which need to be replaced also. There is damage to the analog stick and grip which also needs replacement.  The back shell battery cover needs replacement also.  The In addition our technician noted that the buttons require cleaning and dust was found on the motherboard and screen. The dust need to be thoroughly cleaned out or you run the risk of shorting a component on the board. The total cost for replacing the Top LCD, replacement refurbished shell parts, internal plastic guide, replacement grip, replacement cartridge slot and integrated connections, cleaning the unit with return shipping is $119.95. That includes a 90 day warranty on the replacement parts and repair. As an alternative we can simply return back your unit to you and the inspection and significant extra diagnostics fee required to find and list all of the physically damaged parts is $34.95.  Lastly, we can scrap the order at no charge if you decide the repairs are not cost effective, however we need a written response to finalize the order in this way.
