This delicate repair requires the disassembly of the console in addition to component level repairs to the electronics on the motherboard to replace the adapter port and replace the fuse in the unit. In addition our technician noted that the buttons require cleaning and dust was found on the motherboard and screen. The dust need to be thoroughly cleaned out or you run the risk of shorting a component on the board. The digitizer screen is also scratched and damaged and will be replaced also with the services to the unit. The total cost for replacing the parts, repair, cleaning the unit, with in store pickup is $79.95. That includes a 90 day warranty on the replacement parts and repair. As an alternative we can simply return back your unit to you and the inspection and diagnostics fee is $26.95.
